THE COMPANY
WIND-IT
Wind-it is a French start-up created in 2014, whose purpose is to provide power solutions for off-grid and poor-grid sites, especially for telecommunication towers. Its first solution is a built-to-energy telecommunication tower integrating vertical wind turbines.
Wind-it is also providing, for existing sites, turnkey hybrid solutions, combining multi-sources power sources and including, when relevant, photovoltaic panels.
Wind-it is actively exploring new business opportunities like Energy Services Company (ESCO) and rural electrification.
OUR VISION
More than one billion of human beings have no access to electricity, representing up to 70 % of the population in sub-Saharan Africa.
Providing clean energy would favor local economic development while avoiding deforestation and carbon emissions.
We are convinced that most of the solution will come from decentralized power production modules combined with local mini-grids as recent technologies offer already faster, cheaper and greener solutions.
However achieving this requires new economic models and demand time, effort and new ways of funding to develop and reach maturity. This also represents a tremendous opportunity for us and our partners!

Ergos Energy is a strategic consulting, financial advisory and project development firm specialized in renewable energy.
